It's been so hot here the human and I haven't done much lately. All I want to do is sleep on the couch, by the front door or against the wall. That is, until it finally cools off after dark, and then it's party time. My brother, sister and I love to save all our energy until it's the humans' bedtime and then we race around the house, making happy play sounds (which mom says sounds like we are being murdered), and jump on and off of everything. Mom thinks taking us for more walks will help, but we all know it wont. Even the humans are starting to stay up late to do things like house chores etc. When school starts I think we will have to start pretending to behave, darn it.

I never properly introduced my newest brother, although he has been here a while. His name is Sherlock and in a black ball of fluff. Mom says he is a poodle but he doesn't seem very poodly to me. My brother, Vernon, and I are half poodle and we are regal, strong, energetic, and mostly hairless. Sherlock has no hairless parts, aside from his balls and does almost nothing but sleep and follow the human girl, Tempestt, around. Right now he is trying to balance on her lap while she draws at the table. He is starting to play a bit with us but mom says he's not playing, he's humping. Whatever, At least he isn't sleeping ALL the time. Anyway, gotta go find a cooler spot to nap.
